Over the last few months, Michael, has been undertaking a review of more than 200 Safeguarding Adult Reviews published over the last few years.
This review will provide many insights into the care of vulnerable people and the adequacy of the response to their needs. One of the emerging issues will be the role of alcohol misuse and alcohol dependency.
Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Mental Capacity
The webinar will be presented by Dr Raja Mukherjee. Raja started the first NHS based specialist Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders behavioural clinic and since then has seen over 150 cases for specialist second opinion. He completed his PhD on the subject of Foetal Alcohol Syndrome in 2014. He has also acted as an invited advisor to the BMA board of science, The Department of Health and the World Health Organisation on the subject of FASD.
