Substance use during and/or after pregnancy increased dramatically during the pandemic, putting women and their babies at risk. Substance use during or after pregnancy can lead to threats to the unborn or nursing infant, severe social stigma to the mother, and parental rights concerns.
The purpose of this training is to provide clinicians with a culturally-specific point of reference relating to conceptualising, assessing, coordinating, and implementing treatment specifically to women of colour.
Join the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North Thames on March 31 at 1 - 3pm CET to explore and discuss insights into the barriers of implementing evidence and how innovation in social care can be supported by research and collaboration.
