The Global Action for Sustainable Development-GASD a registered non-profit organization working on evidence-based substance abuse prevention and drug policy reform in Liberia has made the latest call for substance abuse prevention to be prioritized in the county.

The AU in collaboration with the South African Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services, UNODC, Central Drug Authority (CDA) are convening a national action plan validation workshop for the integration of the traditional leadership in the country into the drug demand reduction sphere.

The workshop will take place from 14-15 June 2023 in  Johannesburg and follow the catalytic meeting with the Traditional leadership that took place in November 2022. action
