Emmet Major is coordinating the Planet Youth programme in the west of Ireland and will share his experiences of the programme, with implications for Scottish research, policy and practice.

Substance Use Disorder in the African American Community
Description
The purpose of this workshop is to provide education on substance use in the African American community. By participating in this workshop, participants will become educated on substance use and the stigma associated with seeking treatment in the African American community. Lastly, this workshop will discuss the lack of best practices and how to engage African Americans in substance use disorder treatment.
