Based in Lisbon, Portugal, the EUDA provides independent scientific evidence and analysis on all aspects of this constantly changing threat to individual lives and wider society. The EUDA contributes to EU and national policies to protect Europe's citizens from drug-related harms. It is an agency of the European Union.
Our new mission focuses on contributing to European Union (EU) preparedness on drugs through four main actions: anticipate, alert, respond, and learn.

Objective: Taking place on the eve of International Drug Checking Day, this webinar offers a timely opportunity to highlight the role drug-checking services play across three domains: harm reduction, drug market monitoring and public health alerts. The session will demonstrate the benefits of drug checking for a variety of stakeholders, including consumers, public health authorities and monitoring bodies.
Background: Across Europe, people who use drugs face persistent barriers to housing, decent work, healthcare and safety. All too often, ‘reintegration’ tends to be tied largely to abstinence, at the risk of excluding those who are not ready, or do not wish, to stop using psychoactive substances.
Objective: This webinar aims to explore innovative and evidence-informed approaches to preventing the recruitment and involvement of young people in drug markets across Europe. Drawing on interventions implemented in various European countries, the session will examine how these strategies can disrupt pathways into drug-related criminality and offer meaningful alternatives for at-risk young people.
